Woodall Construction Co., Inc., formerly known as Riggs Construction Co., was incorporated in 1988. Mr. Jerry Woodall purchased the company from the retiring James C. Riggs, d.b.a. J.C. Riggs Construction Co., Inc. While working in the central Kentucky area has proved to be a good base for us, we have gone out into other areas of the state and will continue to look at projects where ever they may be in the state, so long as they fit into our objectives.

With a focus on site preparation – clearing, grading, installation of sewer systems, roadways and concrete work – we can develop your property into the dream that you have for it. We work for you and with you to get your project from the drawing board to the point you are ready to start building.

IN MEMORIAM: JERRY A WOODALL, CEO, VISIONARY
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved leader and former CEO,
the late Jerry A. Woodall, who passed away on May 11, 2025.
Mr. Woodall purchased JC Riggs Construction Co. in 1988 and renamed it Woodall Construction Co., Inc.
in 1990.
He had a vision to become a leader in site development construction in the Central Kentucky Area.
Over the years that is exactly what Woodall Construction Co. has become - a true leader in the industry
completing many projects both public and private. Through his unwavering dedication, leadership, and
integrity, he laid the foundation for the company we are proud of today.
His legacy continues to inspire us all at Woodall Construction, and we remain committed to upholding
the values and principles he instilled in this organization.
